Kia Sorento 2018: new design, new technologies

Sorento is the flagship SUV in the Kia lineup. The seven-seater crossover will undergo an update and enter 2018 with a new look. The new Sorento was presented for the first time at the IAA in Frankfurt. Sorento fans can order it immediately, starting at 34,990 euros.

Refinement of Kia Sorento includes changes in design, interior and security systems. New in equipment are the GT Line and the eight-speed automatic transmission of the 2.2-liter turbodiesel.

The updated look includes newly configured front and rear aprons, headlights and taillights with LED technology. The grille remains dark. The new look is complemented by two new body colors — Rich Espresso and Gravity Blue, as well as new lightweight wheels in 17, 18 and 19 inches.

New automatic transmission for diesel

New sports equipment line

For sports-oriented customers, Kia offers GT Line equipment. Those who choose this version will get LED fog lights, red painted brake calipers, new door sills, chrome exhaust pipes and various GT Line logos on the body. The interior was updated with black leather with gray contrast stitching and an embossed GT Line logo, as well as a new shifter and satin chrome appliqués. The GT Line is only available with all-wheel drive and automatic transmission and costs €49,690.
